Miguel goes to Mexico and learns that his father is Mike Barnes, former rival of Daniel LaRusso. After learning the truth and about Cobra Kai back as number one dojo in the valley, he returns to team up with Kreese along with Miguel. Meanwhile Robby joins the new Miyagi-Fang lead by Chozen and Jonny Laurence to stop Cobra Kai once and for all.

Fresh from watching Cobra Kai season 4 got me hyped to make this trailer. After watching fan theories of what we may expect this is my ultimate concept for the season 5! We begin with Daniel recruiting Chozen for Miyagi do, except the name would be Miyagi-Fang with combination of Johnny's dojo, since they promised to stop teaching if they lose, but its okay if its a new dojo. (original idea I came up with) And of course the elephant in the room, Mike Barnes, as of the making of this remains to be the heavy rumor to join the team Cobra Kai. I thought the best way to fit him into the story if he was Miguel's father, so I used vocals from last episode of Cobra Kai Season 5 when he was talking about meeting him. Mike Barnes clips are from Studio City, and Miguel from Goodnight America which I connected.

"Instead of competing for trophy" line I showed Ralph with a trophy. Then Torie and Terry face to face (reference to her reaction when she find out what he did to the tournament) "Everyone knows you as Daniel LaRusso" clip from the actors interview from Jimmy Fallon was fun little addition that I made Miguel watch him in TV, while showing Mike reacting to it (remembering their past by showing clips from Karate Kid 3). The scene with Cobra Kai costume is a parody clip by Baylen Levine, which I used for the cool slow-motion scenes. For the action scenes MartialArtsClub provided that. For the title I wanted it to be accurate to the season 4 trailer style so I customized it with unique background effect. Then for past trailer scene I added Julie Pearce for fun, to compliment the idea of her joining the show to help mentor Torie (since they have the same anger management issues). The music I used from from Season 4 trailer itself to make it feel like the real thing. The thumbnail was a no brainer, I had to edit Mike Barnes with a Cobra Kai Gi. Along with Silver and Miguel to foreshadow him joining Cobra Kai, and adding the logo in each Gi.
